Hello! I am Natalie Martinez, Owner and Founder of Healing Edge Equine LLC. I am so glad to have you here!

A Little More About Me...

I have *always* been a "horse girl" since I was a little girl. I am not sure when the horse bug bit me exactly, but horses have always been a part of my life since I can remember. I showed in 4-H, and in countless Western & English Pleasure shows growing up! As a young teen, and with the help of my Mom, I bought my first horse, Spirit. A green, very young, spitfire of a Half Arabian/Half Paint gelding. He taught me SO much about horses - from training to connection to care, I was so blessed by him and the challenges he brought to my life - I truly wouldn't be the Horsewoman I am today without him!

My Horse Mom Life Now...

Over the years, I've owned several more horses, and most recently have two horses at home - Ben, a 7 year old AQHA gelding and Million Dollar Dare - a 9 year old APHA mare. My "big kids" as I lovingly refer to them as, played a major role in my decision to become a certified massage therapist!

Why I became a CESMT...

In the years I've owned Dare, she's been a bit of a medical mystery. We've found that she has numerous diagnoses, but all with one common side effect - body discomfort and dysfunction. I knew there had to be more I could do for her outside of the amazing Veterinary care she was already receiving, so I researched one of the best school that also offered hands on training, and the rest is history! Both Ben & Dare get to benefit, but so have all 75+ horses I have been blessed to work with in 2025, thus far.
