Some Quick Winter Blanketing Tips

Hello Fellow Equestrians!
During morning chores this morning while I was checking on my mares, Dare and Georgia, I decided to snag a quick video to share what I look for when my horses are wearing a Winter blanket. I don't blanket often, but with the impending very low temperatures and back-to-back snowstorms forecasted here in Northern Indiana, I decided it was time before this first round of snow arrived today and they were both dry yesterday evening. My horses are much happier outdoors, so until the weather becomes dangerously cold or the snow too deep, they will have their cozy blankets handy and access to the outdoors.
I'd love to hear some blanket tips you may have! Comment below or on my YouTube channel!
Stay safe, stay warm, and try to find the little blessings while you're bundled up doing barn chores, frozen nose hairs, eyelashes and all :) Being a horse owner isn't always glorious, but my gosh, isn't it rewarding?
Cheers to you and your warm ponies,
Natalie Martinez
